I cannot believe we are about to start the third month of a new year. I have been procrastinating about starting this blog for some time now. Little voices in my head keep trying to saturate my mind with negative thoughts; like I’m not a good enough writer, that I have nothing to share that is important, and on and on it goes. But, God keeps whispering to my heart that if I place it in His hands He can use my writing to help others know they are not alone in their suffering and that it is possible to find joy and peace in everyday life, even during the worst of times.
Over the years I have written many stories, both fiction and non-fiction, some I’ve shared in writing groups others I have hidden in a drawer for my eyes only. God has laid it on my heart that it is time to share some of these stories. So, with Him as my guide I’m going to take whatever writing ability He has given me and do my best to share whatever God places on my heart. My prayer is that something among these pages will help lead you to life’s true source of peace, joy, and love.
